The OUT In Schools Project

Due to the generous interest, support and funding from the Astley Family Foundation, the OK2BME Program has been able to create and extend services of the OK2BME program into elementary public schools. The OK2BME Out In Schools – Reducing LGBTQ Stigma in Schools project focuses on establishing Gay-Straight Alliances (GSAs) in senior public schools (Grades 7-8) and K-8 schools within the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB).
