The OK2BME project is operated by
K-W Counselling Services in partnership with Family
and Children’s Services of the Waterloo Region. OK2BME
is a set of free, confidential services for kids and teens wondering
about their sexuality or gender identity. They may identify as lesbian,
gay, bisexual, transgender, gender-variant, or they may just have
questions.
Who we are
OK2BME’s services are provided by the staff and supervised
placement students at K-W Counselling Services. All of the staff
at K-W Counselling Services have Master level education and experience
working with kids, teens, and families on a variety of topics. The
placement students at K-W Counselling Services come from the Master
of Social Work program at Wilfrid
Laurier University and the Post-Degree Program in Marriage and
Family Therapy at the Interfaith
Institute for Couples and Families. |
