Holiday Office Closure

Our KW Counselling Services offices, including OK2BME, will be open for regular hours on Thursday, December 23, then will be closed on Friday, December 24 and the following week, reopening on Monday, January 3, 2022.  
 
We did not make the decision to close over the holidays lightly. We know this season can be especially difficult for many of the people we serve and support. We’re in the field of mental wellness, and that also extends to our staff. We know our employees need a chance to rest and recharge to continue to serve our community. Taking care of ourselves so we can then in turn give our best back to our clients is paramount.

Emergency Community Support for OK2BME

KW Counselling Services is grateful to be receiving a grant from the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and KW Community Foundation to help us provide additional counselling to LGBTQ2+ youth through our OK2BME program. During the pandemic, demand for these specialized services has risen dramatically as LGBTQ2+ youth are unable to access the community and school supports that they would usually rely on.
