We offer free counselling to LGBTQ2+ people in Waterloo Region.

The OK2BME project is operated by KW Counselling Services. OK2BME started as a set of free, confidential services for kids and teens wondering about their sexuality or gender identity. They may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender-variant, or they may just have questions.  Services include: LGBTQ2-positive Individual and Family Counselling, LGBTQ2+ Social and Recreational Youth Group, Professional Consultation and Collaboration, Public Education and Training and Supporting establishment of Gay-Straight Alliances.

OK2BME’s services are provided by the staff and supervised placement students at KW Counselling Services. All of the staff at KW Counselling Services have Master level education and experience working with kids, teens, and families on a variety of topics. The placement students at KW Counselling Services come from the Master of Social Work program at Wilfrid Laurier University and various graduate level programs.
