Mindfulness for Anxiety and Depression Group

Do you struggle to manage the overwhelming symptoms of depression or anxiety? Join our FREE 8-week Mindfulness for Anxiety and Depression Group for ages 18+ to learn how mindfulness practices can help. Participants will increase their understanding of depression and anxiety while exploring mindfulness techniques and incorporating gentle yoga postures to strengthen the connection between mind and body.

Research has shown the positive effects of mindfulness and yoga on mental well-being. This program will draw on those teachings while exploring the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that accompany anxiety and depression. Participants will learn grounding and breathing techniques to manage symptoms, as well as gain practice reframing unhelpful thinking and increasing self-compassion. Gentle yoga postures will be incorporated and can be modified for all fitness levels.
