Community Outreach
OK2BME
Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Two-Spirit (LGBTQ2+) youth and families. OK2BME offers confidential services for LGBTQ2+ youth ages 5-18 and their families at no cost.

In May, 2012, KW Counselling Services launched “Strengthening Our Community,” a media campaign which features four positive actions parents and other caring adults can take to nurture the well-being of all children and teens in the Waterloo Region.

The importance of reaching out and welcoming Newcomers became ingrained in the principles of KW Counselling Service beginning in 1956, when Hungarian refugees settling in this community were supported through outreach activities.
