We are here for you, Waterloo Region!

KW Counselling Services is celebrating 70 years as your community mental health service agency.

Service Updates

During the COVID-19 pandemic our staff are still working hard to provide you with phone and video counselling. Call us at 519.884.0000 to book your session.

Our OK2BME groups for LGBTQ2+ youth are now happening virtually! They still take place on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Youth need to sign up in advance to attend. They can do so here.

Our Parenting Team is available to connect with you by phone and email! If you’d like to schedule a phone call, please email parentingnow@kwcounselling.com

Events and Community

Our 69th Annual General Meeting will take place virtually on May 26th at 4pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. You can find the agenda and the link to register here.

Over the next two weeks, some of our volunteers will be making phone calls to our supporters. We want to stay connected with you, and hear from you about what you need from your community mental health organization at this time. You can also reach out to me at swilliams@kwcounselling.com if you have suggestions or comments.

Did you know that KW Counselling Services is one of six agencies that make up the Counselling Collaborative of Waterloo Region? We work together to ensure that our community has the mental health supports it needs. You can read more about the Collaborative at https://counsellingwr.ca/

Thank You!

We’d like to thank United Way Waterloo Region Communities, Kitchener Waterloo Community Foundation, the Astley Family Foundation, Social Venture Partners Waterloo Region, The Lyle S. Hallman Foundation, The Fairmount Foundation, and Cambridge & North Dumfries Community Foundation for partnering on the COVID-19 Community Response Fund. KW Counselling Services is grateful to be receiving $18,500 to help us offer subsidized counselling services to those in need. You can read more about the fund at http://www.uwaywrc.ca/

If you are able, we would greatly appreciate your financial support at this time. The demand for counselling services is high and we can help meet it with your help. No gift is too small.
