KW Counselling Services is committed to delivering accessible and quality service, while ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients, staff, students, and volunteers. We are operating under the guidelines laid out by Public Health and will make changes to our operations as the situation evolves. Please check for the latest updates or call us at 519.884.0000.

All of our group programming and events are cancelled until May 4, 2020. This includes:

  • All OK2BME Youth Groups
  • All Parenting with Passion courses and workshops
  • All Parenting Now community conversations
  • Strong Moms, Safe Kids group

The Taste of the Region event that was scheduled for May 2, 2020 is cancelled. This WILL have a negative impact on our annual fundraising and we would greatly appreciate any financial support our community is able to offer. Donations can be made online at

We encourage social distancing. Effective immediately, all face to face counselling sessions will be cancelled. In some cases, it may be possible to keep your appointment by phone or online. If these options are of interest to you, please speak directly with your counsellor to see if they are available and appropriate.

You will not be charged for missed or cancelled appointments.

The Walk In Counselling Clinic is closed until further notice.

We encourage everyone to follow the guidance of the Region of Waterloo Public Health for everyday preventive actions to help prevent the spread of viruses.
